Apr ’08 – Responsible Gaming Conference

Just before Easter, our responsible gaming representative Linda attended the eCogra Responsible Gambling Training conference in London.

Linda Åklundh shares her experience;

- I enjoyed the fact that so many operators attended this conference as I believe that responsible gaming is an essential part of the industry’s Corporate Responsibility. The training gave an excellent ‘first step’ towards raising awareness of how to tackle this important issue.

It showed that there are many operators that understand the seriousness of the topic, as well as using their creativity to expand and explore how they can work with the customers to provide a safer form of entertainment.

On the other hand, during the conference I also became aware of how this topics is still in its infancy and that we all – operators, suppliers and customers of this industry, together need to work more towards responsible gaming.
